Director of Communications

Our Director of Communications is responsible for overseeing our entire digital communications and outreach efforts, including social media, website publishing, email newsletter, graphics design, and copy writing. These tasks are handled by teams of volunteers, so the Director of Communications needs to be an effective manager and leader of people to guide them towards LPNOVA’s goals.

This role involves the following tasks:

  • Receive requests and other content from volunteers within the rest of LPNOVA and assign tasks to your volunteers, overseeing progress and resolving issues as needed
  • Develop and execute creative communications campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Train volunteers on tools, processes, and procedures
  • Update our communications Guidebooks on a regular basis
