LPNOVA is seeking a disciplined individual experienced in copy writing/editing and with a mind for scheduling and task management to oversee a small but growing pool of op-ed writers. As Op-Ed Coordinator, you would guide individuals in writing op-eds and helping them be published in local blogs or the LPNOVA newsletter. Task management, tracking, and meeting deadlines is a hugely important part of this job. You would help develop relationships with local publications to help get our people published. You must also be comfortable helping fact-check and research points made by our op-ed writers in their pieces before they are published.
It is estimated that this position would require about 1-3 hours of work per week once we have our policy op-ed team up and running.
