We Stand United

A Message from the Board of LPNOVA

After hearing from many of you last night it’s clear that we all share confusion and concern around the notion that LPVA be dissolved. For those who did not attend the meeting, we’d like to make it absolutely clear that The Libertarian Party of Northern Virginia will always work to expand and defend freedom and liberty across our region. We will continue the work of affecting peaceful change in the governing bodies that affect our lives. We reiterate our commitment to working toward a smaller, less intrusive government. We will continue our participation in peaceful assembly, education of the public and politicians on matters of Liberty, and running candidates for local, state, and federal offices. We unequivocally oppose dissolution of the Libertarian Party of Virginia, and will continue to work with affiliates across the Commonwealth to conduct the business of the party.

We are actively working with sister affiliates across the state to undo the damage done by the folks who have violated our LPVA constitution and bylaws, including seeking remedy within the legal system.

LPNOVA is stronger than ever and we’re not going anywhere!

In Liberty,
LPNOVA Board
